Eat Fish.

Czech people usually are not fond of eating fish, the reason they say is "we don't have sea". However there is a strong Czech tradition of eating a fish "karp" for the Christmas eve. During the Xmas times there appears big fish tank in the main streets, people buy these alive karp, take home, and put in their bath tub for a week or so, then kill on the xmas eve and eat it. on 24th we decided to buy Karp and try cooking, but the fish tanks had vanished from the streets by then.
Most of the Russian Cuisine is not fresh food, obvious reason Cold Winter. They have this preserved/salted fish eggs which they call as "ikrie" or something, and they love it. its kinda illegal to seel the black fish eggs in russia, they cost arround 20 000 INR for a can of 200 gm fish eggs. I did try the red fish eggs, though as usual non cooked food doesnt impress me much.
