A collegue gave me a piece of worlds famous cake today, I ate it. I was tastey.

I wonder eating the world famous cake makes any difference to my fate?!!!!

The sound of darkness crawls inside me, and the hard-hitting sensation takes life in me. The air was solid as rock. Darkness was all around me, it was my room in my house.it been a week now since the darkness had prevailed. More of choice than of fate. The light went out and I took no effort to buy one and change it. No that would be a wrong statement, I looked around the house and found nothing suitable. I checked few stores and it was not there. It was more of a choice than fate. I spend my nights in absolute darkness, just my mere choice. Contemplating on the philosophies of darkness and ideals of actions.

Randeep sat at his desk. He just finished writing the essence of life with darkness and his room.

My window

He opened his eyes to darkness, he reached for his mobile to check the time. It said 3.50 am. He felt the unbearable pain behind his forehead, he sensed the difficulty to breath through both the nostrils, a tiny drop of fluid run down his nose. He stared at the ceiling. The medicine he took before going to sleep last night didnt help, he felt worse than yesterday.

Sanu woke up 25 minutes early , alarm was set to 4.15 am. The 5.28 am train would leave Prague to Budapest without him, he first trip outside the Czech republic will be postponed, people who will be waiting for him will be disappointed. Keeping back the mobile, he searched for the water bottle, he came to a half sitting position, raised his head and had some water. Lying back on the bed he thought about the cancellation of his trip, everyone around him had gone to many places,he was the only one who never went traveling and he was looking forward for this trip for almost an year, to get the visa which would make it possible to travel in EU with no spl visa.

Health, is more valuable than we think it is, it could change your life.

Hole in her Shoes

The red metro train cruised through the dark underground tunnels of Prague cutting across the layers of chill air. Inside stood Sanu in the last compartment of the train, leaning his back on the back door of the train. He put on the earphone and played an audio book in this mp3 player. His eyes turned to be an observer and his ears transformed into a child listening to bedtime stories.
"say something nice to me wanatabe" was the first words from the earphones and words will continue to pour out till he reached his work in vaslavske namesti.

As his eyes observed, a girl with big blue fashionable bag gets in from "Budeloviska" station, she went to an empty seat which she might have spotted before getting in the train. This seat faced the back door where Sanu's observing eyes stood. She left the blue bag hung on her left arm, it was weightless, and opened a magazine and started turning the pages to find something to read.

Tough being stylish she was dressed to keep herself warm. She wore a grey thick coat which seems to be made of woolen, under it she had a blue pullover which matched the color of the bag yet more bright. She seems to have a blue tiny dot ear rings, I am not sure if she had the tiny ear ring for real, but it seemed to him that she had a matching ear ring too. Her hair was straight and short and didn’t cover most of her face, normal eyes but with a wide lip.

His eyes were stuck and continued to stare at a small hole in her canvas shoe. She wore the girly canvas shoe which is very popular here in Czech Republic and it had round opening on the top part, above the big toe of her left shoe. Here was this girl so well dressed, a style with perfect attention to matching color and wore a shoe with hole in it. This curiosity led sanu’s eye to search for the other shoe and to his delight it had a same hole exactly in the same place like it’s a mirror reflection. I wondered by a girl like that should be wearing a torn shoe like that. which was when he notice her big toe reaching out though the torn hole, she was actually pushing her big toe up and down, her face didn’t have a slightest reflection of her act, it was not that she was enjoying it ,it was more like an natural act. She continued to play with her big toe till they both got out in the same museum station. No wonder her why her shoes had holes. She went out of the train and walked towards right and me left.

A stream of thoughts always seems to be attached to me where ever I go these days.
Not cheerful nor depressing but definitely not thoughts abt me sitting on the sea shore
sipping chilled beer. But of someone searching for his beliefs, what of what he know should he believe in or should he keep searching for something that might come.

Pel'meni party

Pel'meni is Russian specialty.

Its basically meat balls coated with flour, boiled. They say its best with Vodka :) It was awesome! The invitees were Russian speakers only, though I dont speak Russian I enjoyed the food!

At the party there was also that fish salad(the salad in which they put salted fish as such(without cooking), however the fish element was very less, so it was also tasting good for me.

Chineese chopsticks

It interesting to lean how to catch Chinese chopsticks in a club, no not a Chinese girl.Its interesting when you stand next to 2 Czech girls, your friend talking to them, once in a while i say a word when they ask or speak in English, rest of the time i am trying chopstick trick with two straws on the lemon piece in my cub Libra(vodka cola and lime). And guess what, I learned the trick perfectly in 3 hours standing next to 2 beautiful Czech girls at 3 am. Hurray!

No music while walking!

Listening to music while walking is now prohibited.

Since last Sunday (February 1st) Slovakian streets have new laws to reinforce road safety; lower speed limits and higher fines are two of the new measures, and now Listening to music while walking is now prohibited.

Can you belive it????

I used to have this thought "It happens only in India" always, but this is weired , i guess i should change the quote to "shit happens everywhere"

Morning was muffled, the horizons had no light. Warm air filled The house from the heat from the central heating system, but outside snow was shattered all around. He had to wake up earlier than usual, it was 6.15 am when his alarm went off from his mobile. He took a long
bath in hot water, which he loved to do everyday since the winter started.


Sanu arrived 15 minutes early for the appointment at the Foreign Police, the rough sketched map found handier than expected. The girl from the agency who was supposed to meet him and assist through the process was still not there. He continue listening to songs from Dill6
with the default earphone of his iaudio player in the cold.

"delloit" asked a girl with red shaded hair

"Monster" I replied.

"oh, ano. Please " she had mellow eyes, it was evident that she didn’t know any English even though she had not spoken much. The one and half hour wait followed
they spoke about different subjects, she spoke in Czech and he spoke less in English and more in
actions.


He recollected she saying "Czech people are nebezpečný(dangerous), they could kill"
she wanted to go away from Prague and live in London!. at least that’s what he understood,
Did you hear that, London! Leaving Prague!

She wants to start her life outside Prague and settle somewhere else. Its true with all nationalities I guess, earlier my thought that only in India ,people feel of going outand working or settle because of its present condition. Many people I met wants the same,
One person from the Ukraine dont wants to settle in Ukraine but in Prague, One person from
Mexico wants to settle in France, another one from Prague went to work in Ukraine...and many more

And as a conclusion, there is not conclusion, only that
Humans are complex!

Snow Army

When I woke up today in the morning, it was snowing.
Yesterday was different from typical friday nights, I didnt drink and I didnt go out.Obviously you get up early enough on saturday, when i say early ..early like. 8 o clk. There are patterns for snow fall, its logical to have patterns for snow because i knw that rains has it. But today i noticed a magical pattern of snow, instead of flying down, the snow flakes were moving more of a horizontal path than vertical one. It was like one is going in search of something, however when there was many snow flakes, it gave the impression of an army attacking and conquering my land.

it was beautiful.

Part 2: Always Sunset on third street

Impressed with the movie i found out there was a 2nd part released in 2007. I found it.
The second part opens good and gives you the same feeling as the first. It even makes
you nostalgic about the first movie. The director dont introduces his characters again,
he just goes forward with them and add new characters. Though I knew how the story
would go from the beginning , every minute of the movies was worth the watch.
8.0 out of 10 !!

Two Importatnt things in Life!

I was searching my email for an old mail and i stumbled upon this one. I am posting a extract from the email I sent to a friend.

first of all that was a very long mail.....

whatever we do in this life ....i believe the
final call should be ours......

we have to decide what wee need....
we should set our priorties.....

then there is no harm in it...but where we usuallly
fails is there when our priorties changes we feel that
what we did was fooolish..so the most important thing
should be careful in choosing our priorties....

second one is that we should make sure others are not
affected badly by our decisions.we should not force
someone to do soemthing they dont like......and sure
we should not bring in ego while making a decison.

there two things i belive is important.
then you had your priortyies you you did that
way.......and i am sure that there is not going any
change whether you work for a small comapny or big
one.....and atleast a few wont feel that way.


keeping words is the best thing a man can do and
verry difficult...... be proud that you kept your
words ...... but the important thing is that ..think
twice before you give a word.......

its foolish to stick to a word which was given without
thingking causing us damage ..so need to think before
giveing a words.

Another list

Towards the end of my college days, these were some things I wanted to do.

1. To go to Bermuda triangle for fishing!
2. To collect 1 Rs from every Indian and bring back "Kohinoor diamond"
3. To have your name on money. (I hate this Idea now)
4. To reach enlightenment!

A very well made Japanese movie ! It even had the nostalgic elements in it, like brining home the first TV, frist Fridge....7.9 out of 10.

Its true, let it be in anything, that if we dont use them often we will forget it, be in studies,skill, memories anything.

And it happened to me that I forgot to say sorry, also this discovery came with a "cost"

Eat Fish.

Czech people usually are not fond of eating fish, the reason they say is "we don't have sea". However there is a strong Czech tradition of eating a fish "karp" for the Christmas eve. During the Xmas times there appears big fish tank in the main streets, people buy these alive karp, take home, and put in their bath tub for a week or so, then kill on the xmas eve and eat it. on 24th we decided to buy Karp and try cooking,but the fish tanks had vanished from the streets by then.
Most of the Russian Cuisine is not fresh food, obvious reason Cold Winter. They have this preserved/salted fish eggs which they call as "ikrie" or something, and they love it. its kinda illegal to seel the black fish eggs in russia, they cost arround 20 000 INR for a can of 200 gm fish eggs. I did try the red fish eggs, though as usual non cooked food doesnt impress me much.

Diging a hole in YOU.

Quitting smoking leaves a big hole in you, in your habits, in your gestures, may be even in your character. I now have a big hole in me and don't know what to do with it. I find a change in the way I drink, I m trying to fill in the hole with beers, earlier I could only drink 3 or in rare cases 4 beers, but now..i find myself ending up with having 7 beers.

People change or their need change?

People change or their need change?


Most often I have heard the saying that its not the people, its you who had changed. On the contrary I have been noticing , its not you, its not the people, its the their need which changes!.

When you meet someone after a gap, you are meeting the same person, but they may not give the same priority for the same things which you had encountered earlier. I guess its that change in priority which makes us feel that they have changed.

However most people who had their big priorities of their life changed, yet keep up the warmth of your relationship, is true and will stay true. You can count on them.

The sky decorated the earth with its flowers, making it white like some Gods, way up there spilled a big jar of sugar over the city.

It’s beautiful when it snows, in my opinion its one of the must see wonders of a life time,
to see and feel snow fall. Each snow flakes, when examined closely is like a micro pine tree branch, beautifully crafted like a Swarovski crystal.

The whites of earth give a touch of living in fairly tales. It’s been a week now, that the snow had stayed without melting(-11 C today), i guess its the first time since i was here in Prague.

Hope it last forever, like in Marques novel when it rains, it rains for years continuously.
